Everyday Makeup Products

Dress: Wayf

Hello and happy Friday! I have gotten so many questions from people asking about which makeup products I use and how I do my makeup. I am definitely not a makeup guru but I wanted to share what products I love and explain how I do my everyday makeup look!

I start by washing my face and then applying a face moisturizer. I am using the SLMD skincare system right now and I LOVE it! It has a morning and night serum and then a moisturizer. My face has seriously never felt better! After putting on the serum, I apply a generous amount of lotion. I notice my face looking 100X better if it is nice and hydrated!

I then apply the Smashbox photo finish primer. This stuff is gold! It smoothes out your face and tones down any redness you have all while helping your makeup stay on better.

Then I apply the Loreal Infallible liquid foundation. This stuff is $12 and works SO well. I was using a bare minerals foundation but I like this one so much more and it’s cheaper! I use the Sigma flat kabuki brush.

Next, I use this Tarte under eye concealer under my eyes, obviously! Lol. This stuff is AMAZING! It helps with under eye circles so much. I use shade fair. I use a damp beauty blender to dab this under my eyes.

I set that with the Laura Mercier setting brightening powder. I also use the damp beauty blender to set this!

After the setting powder, I use the Bare Minerals powder foundation and put it all over my face to even everything out. I am shade light natural 09. I use this brush!

I then use a light bronzer to put all over my face to either give me some color or to make my face match the rest of my body when I use a self tanner! For this, I use Benefit Hoola matte bronzer with this brush.

For contouring I either use the Two Faced cocoa contour pallet with this brush (I usually use the medium cocoa color) or the Benefit Hoola contour stick with my damp beauty blender. I like both, just depends on how hard I want to try on my makeup that day, HA!

For blush, I either use the Bare Minerals blush in shade “the one” or the Becca shimmering blush in shade camellia with this brush.

I use the Anastasia sugar glow kit for highlighter with this brush! I love all four of the colors!

I then use the Urban Decay velvetizer powder. I cannot say enough good things about this stuff! Your face feels and looks SO smooth after putting this on! I apply it with this brush.

For priming my eyes, I use the Urban Decay primer potion in shade Eden. I never have a problem with my eyeshadow smudging or coming off when I use this!

For eyeshadow, I usually ALWAYS use one of the Urban Decay Naked pallets. For my eyelid, I like to use a gold of some sort. I really like the Chanel eyeshadow pot in “Convoitise”. It goes on smooth and stays all day. Another gold I really like is the shade “half baked” from the original Urban Decay naked pallet. On the brow line, I like to use the shade “sin” from the same Urban Decay naked pallet. In the crease I like a darker color so I mix “gunmetal” and “darkhorse”. Then I go in with the “virgin” color or some sort of white right underneath my eyebrow.

For eyeliner, I use the Kat Von D tattoo liner in black. I put it on the top and bottom because I think it has a more finished look!

For mascara, y’all are going to laugh but I have been using the same two mascaras since I started wearing makeup in the 7th grade. HA! First I coat the top eyelashes with the Maybelline last stiletto in black. I swear by this stuff and it’s under $9. I then do another coat with the Maybelline volum’ express on top and then use this mascara for my bottom lashes. I love the way these two make my lashes look!

For eyebrows, I either use the Anastasia brow wiz or the Anastasia dip brow pot with the Anastasia eyebrow brush.

For my lips, I almost always wear the Stilla stay all day liquid lipstick! My favorite color is “baci”.

After I finish my makeup I set it with the Urban Decay all nighter setting spray! My makeup wouldn’t stay on without this stuff!

Like I said earlier, I’m definitely not a makeup guru but this is what works for me! Also, the Sephora Spring Bonus event starts TODAY for all Rouge members! For all VIB and beauty insiders members, the event starts on April 20th! If you’re not a member of the beauty insiders club, you can click here to register! I hope everyone has a great weekend!!!
