As you can tell by the title of this post and by my instagram post, after a year of living in Houston , we’re moving to Georgia! Patrick got an amazing new job and I am SO proud of him. We’re excited and scared, me mostly scared (HA!), but we are excited for a new adventure. We will definitely miss our house we are in now! It was the first house we moved into together and is so special to us.
Patrick grew up in South Carolina and Pennsylvania and didn’t move to Texas until high school so the area is home to him! I have grown up and lived in Texas my whole life, so this is definitely new to me but I know this is the best step for Patrick in his career and for our family. I am excited to see a new part of the U.S. and to go on this new adventure with Patrick. We went a few weeks ago and found our new house, and I am SO excited about it! I can’t wait to show y’all when we finally move in. Our house right now is an absolute wreck from packing y’all. I am SO ready to be unpacked in our new house.
Patrick’s new office will technically be in South Carolina so we will be in north Georgia. I am on the search for a new photographer in the area so if you know of anyone, please let me know! I am so excited to take y’all along on this adventure.
If y’all want to know the truth, I have cried more days than not because this is all so new and foreign to me, but I know (hope) we will get out there and love the experience and love finding new things! Moving states away from our family’s is hard and we are nervous but excited to make new memories as a family of our own. Texas, we’ll be back!
Thanks for stopping by, and I would love and appreciate it if you guys could keep us in your prayers as we embark on this journey! Thanks in advance guys!!

Congratulations Rach on your move. Awww I know it can be bitter sweet but I think when you settle in you will make it your home. I can understand the tears, you are leaving what is familiar and comfortable to a new adventure . Check out Courtney who is also from Texas and recently moved to Birmingham AL Her husband is doing residency as a doctor. https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/77867227/posts/1902187307 She is getting used to being in a new state too, I hope it helps , hugs, Terri xo .
